  My parents each bought a pre-arranged plan with Florida Memorial Gardens many years ago. When they grew older, I moved them to my home town, Naples, FL. I knew I was blessed that they had made these arrangements but was concerned how the dots would connect to get them "back home". where they chose as their final resting place.
  When the time grew near, I called Florida Memorial Gardens, and was so pleased that they assured me "everything will work out, just call us when the time comes". Unfortunately, my dad passed and I made the call. They took over at this difficult time, made arrangements with a local funeral home for a temporary stay, then he was transferred by Florida Memorial Gardens. At that point, we continued with their wishes. The transfer process was included in the prepaid arrangement as we were able to make adjustments.
  Everyone we interacted with was so sincere in their desire to help us through the decisions. We never felt rushed and were so pleased with every aspect of their services.
  My mom's time is coming soon and I am at peace knowing that Florida Memorial Gardens will help our family through this difficult time and that all my parents wishes will be fullfilled.

  My mother passed away on November 5, 2012. In 1983, my mother and father purchased 2 cemetery plots and 2 urns to be laid to rest in at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge Florida. My parents took the time and what little money they had to make sure that my brother and I would be spared any burdens of expenses when they passed away. The day my mother passed away, this past Monday morning, we contacted Florida Memorial Gardens to make arrangements for my mother's body to be transported from the hospital in Titusville Florida to Florida Memorial Gardens for her cremation and her burial. We were told that it would cost us $3000.00! Yes, $3000.00 to transport her body and cremate her. We were shocked. It was our understanding that this was covered in the contract that my parents purchased in 1983. No where does it state that the family would incur any additional expenses. We then contacted the local funeral home in Titusville to compare the cost of cremation. It was on $650 to transport my mom's body from the hospital and to cremate her. We contacted the Florida Memorial Gardens to discuss such a high difference in the costs. They were unwilling to negotiate about the price. We did not use Florida Memorial Gardens services at that time. We chose to utilize the local funeral home instead. Today my brother picked up my mother's remains and drove her down to Rockledge to Florida Memorial Gardens to have my mother placed into the cemetery plot next to my dad. The Florida Memorial Gardens informed my brother that this would cost $795.00. Yes, $795.00. We are outraged! We feel that the people who own and operate Florida Memorial Gardens are taking advantage of people in their time of loss. A time when you need support and you expect it especially since your parents paid for it already. Do not use Florida Memorial Gardens. They are unemotional, insensitive business people. They do not care about helping families lay their loved ones to rest in peace. The only care about how much money they can steal from them.

  Just found out that the plaque for my dads grave wasn't ordered from back in August. Spent a bunch of money to put him to rest and this place didn't follow through. Not happy with them.

  I've been visiting family graves here for almost 50 years. It's always serene, peaceful, calm. I also drive past on US1 several times a week and it never fails to impress me how well it is maintained. A million flowers, grass is immaculate- just a picture-perfect resting place for my mom, uncle, grandparents...
